Student Managers 

SAI’s seven business units are each managed by Cornell undergraduates, who have profit/loss responsibility for their respective businesses. Each agency manager reports to the President who is ultimately accountable for the operations and performance of the entire portfolio.

A number of full-time professional staff provide mentoring and support services to the student management staff, including a CEO that serves as a “Mentor in Residence.”

A formal Board of Directors sets the organization’s long-term strategic vision and serves as an experienced resource for the student management staff.


Luke Bushner '18
President - Student Agencies, Inc.

Luke is a junior in the College of Engineering studying Operations Research and Information Engineering. He intends to use his academic background to create sustainable business structures and reduce costs for each business. In addition, Luke hopes to create a productive and collaborative environment within the new eHub workspace. Prior to his presidency, he was the General Manager of Big Red Shipping and Storage. Outside of Student Agencies, Luke is the President of Sigma Chi and an active member in his professional fraternity, Theta Tau.

Dana Nieh '19
Chief Financial Officer - Student Agencies, Inc.

Dana is a junior majoring in Applied Economics and Management, pursuing a concentration in finance and a minor in philosophy. She applies the skills from her academic background to improve the accuracy of cash flow forecasts and management, as well as assist general managers and the President in conducting due diligence on strategic initiatives. Through financial analyses of each of the business' operations, she aims to help managers make data-informed decisions. Outside of Student Agencies, Dana is involved in Delta Sigma Pi, the Cornell Undergraduate Asia Business Society, Anabel's Grocery, and the Dyson Business Inclusion and Diversity Program. In her free time, she enjoys sleeping.

Danny Sharp '18
Director of Human Resources - Student Agencies, Inc.


Danny is a senior Near Eastern Studies major with focus areas in Persian and Arabic language. Previously, Danny was the Director of Operations for Big Red Shipping and Storage, and hopes to apply his experience and passion for Student Agencies to succeed in his role as Director of Human Resources. During his term, Danny hopes to increase manager diversity and develop brand recognition, as well as continue to cultivate a strong company culture. He also hopes to utilize the new eHub space to strengthen SAI's presence and involvement with the Cornell and Ithaca communities. Outside of Student Agencies, Danny is an active member of his fraternity, Sigma Chi, and enjoys linguistics, politics, and debate.

Nick Jean-Baptiste '19
Chief Technology Officer - Student Agencies, Inc.

Nick is a sophomore majoring in Information Science with a concentration in Behavioral Science. He is also pursuing a double minor in Business and Computer Science. As part of his role as Chief Technology Officer, Nick hopes to make Student Agencies a pioneer of security and efficiency. In addition, he hopes to work closely with the Director of Strategy to develop ideas for new SAI businesses that fit the technological needs of their customers. Beyond his work at Student Agencies, Nick is the House Manager for his social fraternity, Chi Psi. He also produces and mixes music in his spare time.

Cyara New '18
Director of Marketing - Student Agencies, Inc.

Cyara New is a Junior studying Marketing, Information Science, and Business in CALS. Previously, she worked as the General Manager of Campus Promotions, assisting in its record breaking year.  Outside of Student Agencies, Cyara has been involved with College Mentors for Kids for 2 years, where she oversees a group of 10 mentors and mentees. She also serves on the executive board of Cornell's first Computer Science Minority's club, "Under-represented Minorities in Computing" (URMC). For fun, Cyara enjoys traveling, boxing, photography, and hanging out with her friends in her sorority, Alpha Phi.

Zac Goldman '18
Director of Strategy - Student Agencies, Inc.


Zac is a junior studying industrial and labor relations with minors in philosophy and business. As Director of Strategy, it is Zac’s mission to source new business ideas or potential acquisitions, critically evaluate each option, and ultimately execute on expanding the SAI portfolio. Zac is particularly excited to apply his entrepreneurial experiences serving as General Manager of Hired Hands Moving Company and running his own ‘Two Brother’s Landscaping Company’ in order to pursue new opportunities for SAI.

Tim Loiseau '19
General Manager - Student Agencies Real Estate

Tim is from Denver, Colorado and is currently a sophomore in the Hotel School, where he is pursuing a major in Hotel Administration with a minor in Real Estate. Tim is responsible for all leasing, marketing, and budgeting for SAI's 17 residential units and 5 commercial tenants right in the heart of Collegetown. Professionally, Tim is interested in real estate development and resort management. Tim hopes that he will be able to leverage the management and operational skills that he has gained as SAI's Real Estate Manager to prepare him for a career in these fields. In his free time, Tim enjoys golf, skiing, and sailing. On campus, Tim is an active member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. 

Nick McConnell '19
General Manager - Big Red Shipping & Storage

Nick is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in American Studies and minoring in Africana Studies. As one of the general managers for Big Red Shipping and Storage he is excited to improve his professional skill set and eager to grow from challenges that may arise on the job. Outside of Student Agencies Nick enjoys exploring Ithaca, spending time with friends, and reading on his trusty kindle. He is the merchandise chairman and an active member of his fraternity, Sigma Chi.



Kyle Hagedorn '19
General Manager - Big Red Shipping & Storage

Kyle is from Jasper, Georgia and is a sophomore in the School of Hotel Administration, with minors in Real Estate and Finance, philosophy, and Policy Analysis and Management. As a general manager of Big Red Shipping and Storage, his primary focus is on improving the operational and logistical elements of the business. On campus, Kyle is involved in a number of business-related organizations and is an active member of his social fraternity, Sigma Chi. Outside of Cornell, he enjoy raveling, playing tennis, taking on far more than he can handle, and engaging in combative political arguments. After his time at Cornell, he hopes to apply his business degree, his experiences at SAI and his passions to develop real estate properties in third world countries.

Gabrielle Zacky '19
General Manager - Campus Promotions

Gabrielle is a sophomore English major and Law and Society minor. As manager of Campus Promotions, she hopes to gain experience in business and expand her skill set. She is excited to gain real world experience by running a business. Outside of Student Agencies, Gabrielle enjoys hanging out with friends, running, hiking, eating, and traveling. 

Iris Gou '20
General Manager - Campus Promotions


Iris is a freshman majoring in Applied Economics and Management concentrating in Finance and minoring in Information Science. As a co-manager of Campus Promotions, Iris aims to apply her past marketing experience in the public and private sectors to increase marketing outreach in the Ithaca area. Outside of SAI, Iris is a member of Society of Women in Business and Smart Women Securities, an active fellow of the Meinig Family Cornell National Scholars, and a TMT analyst for the Cornell Investment Banking Club. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, and going to concerts.

Tara Sarkar '17
Editor-in-Chief - The Cornellian


ara is a senior in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences pursuing a major in Biology and Society with minors in Global Health and Business. Tara was the Editor-in-Chief of her high school yearbook, and when she came to Cornell she joined the Cornellian design team her freshman year to continue her passion for design. Over the past four years at SAI, she has served as a design editor, managing editor, 2016 Editor-in-Chief and is now the 2017 Editor in Chief. Tara is excited to lead her talented and dedicated editorial staff in creating a book that will rekindle treasured memories and capture the life and spirit of the undergraduate Cornell experience. Outside of SAI, Tara is the Program Assistant for the 2017 ILR/Global Health SVYM India Global Service Learning Program, the Alumni Relations Chair for Mortar Board / Der Hexenkreis Senior Honor Society, and a child mentor through Cornell’s Y.O.U.R.S. Upon graduation, Tara plans to travel back to southern India for a few months before pursuing a career in Occupational Therapy.


Jack Zivitofsky '18
General Manager - The Cornellian


Jack is a junior in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, studying Statistics and Business. As a General Manager of the Cornellian Yearbook, he is committed to providing first-class customer service and promoting the yearbook so as to best serve the students and staff at Cornell, and also the greater Ithaca community. Aside from Student Agencies, Jack enjoys playing soccer and is an active member and philanthropy chair of Sigma Phi.

Claire Pan '20
General Manager - TakeNote


Claire is a freshman in the Dyson School studying Applied Economics and Management and concentrating in business analytics and strategy. As the co-manager of TakeNote, she is committed to providing excellent customer service and building TakeNote’s brand on campus. Through Student Agencies, Claire is looking forward to interacting with different members of the Cornell community and developing her professional skills. Outside of Student Agencies, Claire is a member of Forté Campus at Cornell, the Cornell Marketing Organization, and the Make Your Mark Career Fair Committee. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, competing with Cornell Club Tennis, and following NBA basketball.

Stella Moss '20
General Manager - TakeNote


Stella is a freshman majoring in Applied Economics and Management. During her time as a co-manager of Takenote, she hopes to increase expansion to help more students and ensure efficiency as well as customer satisfaction. Through student agencies, Stella hopes to learn practical business skills and gain real world experience. Outside of SAI, Stella is a member of Alpha Phi and the society for women in business. In her free time, she enjoys being with friends and playing with her dogs.

Jack D'Agostino '20
General Manager - Hired Hands Moving Company

Jack is a sophomore in the School of Hotel Administration pursuing a minor in real estate. As a manager for Hired Hands, Jack is looking forward to running the best moving company in Upstate New York, as well as the challenge that that moniker provides. While not on the job, Jack is heavily involved with College Mentors for Kids on campus, where he spends time every week mentoring his little buddy Xavier. Jack is also an active member of Cornell’s Sigma Pi chapter, and enjoys spending time with his brothers to relax.

Lucas Goldman '20
General Manager - Hired Hands Moving Company

Lucas Goldman is a freshman studying Applied Economics and Management. Before coming to Cornell, Lucas owned a landscaping and odd jobs business, the Two Bros. Work Crew. He also wrestled and played football. Now, he is excited to join the SAI team and run the Hired Hands Moving Company with his co-manager Jack D'Agostino. As the General Manager of Hired Hands, Lucas hopes to benefit from real-life learning experiences while building the company into an even stronger and well-renowned moving company.
